My husband & I can sew light weight leather, like small pouches. We have been sewing for over 25 years, mainly clothes & quilts, some upholstery, but we would like to branch into sewing leather.

this 29-4 is a customer's,,the customer said it has been sitting up in someones barn. the foot is not feeding the material thru, we've tried changing the tension on the foot & it did not make any difference. the foot moves but it will not move the material..

I have a singer 29-4 how to time the shuttle hook to the needle bar? it looks like the shuttle hook is a 180 degrees out of time.

thank you for the information. I move the wing nut & backed it off & it didn't change the pressure foot any. the machine will not feed the material, we've tried to find a service manual for it with out any luck.

have a used singer 29-4 machine, the operation manual we found online doesn't have good pictures, the fabric is not feeding, it seems that the foot is trying to move but it's not lifting, the foot is moving back & forth. where can I get a service manual? any help or suggestions would be helpful.
