  1. a friend of mine showed me a pair of chinks with this stamping on the yokes, and is now looking for this stamp it is pretty large about an inch and a half by an inch
  2. most of the booths are in the main expo building at the stockyards, there are some more just across the way at the other arena where many of the shows take place and where they keep the draft horses, i cant remember what its called, theres a few in other places at the stockyards too but thats where the majority of the custom leather was
  3. use a good pattern for chinks, make two tabs to sew together in the front then make your bib out of a separate piece not traditional but work well and fit nice
  4. wanting to build my own skeleton can you guys post pics for me to look at for ideas Thanks
  5. quite a few people in southern idaho are riding saddles similar to that only more stripped down. these have only the bare essentials. most are put on a injection molded plastic wade tree and have only the rigging, stirrup leathers, and a rope strap. bucking rolls are added depending on personal preference. they are particularly useful riding colts or for guys who ride stock saddle broncs, but are comfortable to ride all day. my only suggestion on the type you were wanting to build is if you want to rope without rubber id put some mulehide on the horn to keep from burning it up. but strength should not be an issue.
