Does anybody know where a person can get the little pins used to secure tips on belts and headstalls? I have made silver wire pins for belts, but would like to use something heavier for headstalls. When they are brought to me, the crown strap is usually broken by tying horses by the reins and I have to remove the tips when making a whole new piece or splicing a new end on. Used to get them with buckle sets, but they seem to be impossible to find separately.

Looking for Landis #3 needles size 12 and under. Have 12 and 10 awls, currently sewing with 13 awl and needle, want to try with one size smaller needle. Will trade some of the 10 and 12 awls for needles or buy needles.

Looking for size 12 needles for Landis #3. Have size 13 needles and awls and some size 12 and 10 awls only. I would trade some of them for size 12 needles. I have been sewing doubled and stitched spur straps and headstalls with 207 thread and 13 needles and awls, but would like to try a size smaller needle as per Don King. Would also be interested in needles smaller than 12.
