I have been a lurker for almost 2 years, but really just started to get really bitten by the leather bug.
I'm up in Manitoba Canada, I'm a mom of 3 ( 5,2, and 1), happily married to a guy that isn't as into the leather work as me, but is happy that I've found something i enjoy and can do at home. I've owned and raised horses for most of my life and so the leather work I'm most interested in is related to tack, riding apparel and equipment.
I'm hoping this year to learn to use the Singer 112W140 that I have, fix a few leather halters I have, and keep improving on my cutting out, casing and tooling/stamping of leather. .. Long term, I want to build myself a saddle, makes some headstalls and pulling collars that I can be proud of and continue to make some spur straps. Also want to build myself some nice chinks ( yes i have big dreams~! but gotta dream big and go for it )
Love this place and the amazing information that I have found on it!
