I have been working on traditional Spanish Colonial chip carved crosses with traditional punched tin insets. But I have been struggling with being completely disgusted with the Catholic church for about 2 years now. Time for something new.

I live on a remote cattle ranch/hay farm @ 7,300' elevation in north central New Mexico. I can do all the work here, but right now there are lease cows on the place during the summer months. I live here with my 4 old cow horses, one 140lb Karakachan LGD, one Border Collie and 8 cats. We all need a job. I have been making fun of horse pet people for about 50 years. Now I am one.

I am about 70 miles out of Santa Fe. 45 miles from Pagosa Springs. People in those places always have money to buy what they want.

  1. Out here in cattle country, everyone wants to see the stitching. Elk hide is definitely a superior leather. I couldn't live without my elk skin fencing gloves.
  2. This is really nice. You must be somewhere nearby. I'm in NM north central mountains near the CO border.
  3. Spanish Colonial wood/tin
  4. Spanish Colonial wood/tin
  5. What I have been doing for a few years. Spanish Colonial wood/tin.
