My name is Mary McDonald and I am getting back into leather working after 15 year's. I would like to carry on with my mum and da's passion with leather and bead working. I have worked with 1oz leather to make fly swatter paddles, with my da and carved some roses and a parchment on the leather. I was wondering how do i start a gallery so when people look at my profile thay can see things that i have done or made.

It is a lot of work for it to look like it wraps around the front of the pants it took me 3 month's to complete it and that's with leather in between the material. thank you for the coment.

hury up on posting the sketches i am looking at a leather corset my self. The hard thing is there is no pattern for it and i dont like to where a shamese under my hunting out fit.

be patient with your self and don't take on more then you think you can do. welcome to the group my dear. I have been looking for some good and descent leather tools that don't cost an arm and a leg with your first born child. I would like it if some one has any info that would help me find good tools and supply's so i could get into working with leather, I have done some leather fly swatter's with my dad using his tools but not being any where close to where he is at this time i have no tools to use.

Leather working and Leather projects, is like taking your first step you tend to stumble and fall but its all part of the learning curve. This is the only place that I have found that have people who like or love to work with leather, Since my dad can't help me with leather because of his eye sight this is the best place to get good ideas and help. I only knew about Tandy leather factory for getting my leather, but since i have been in the site I have found more places to get my leather from. thanks for excepting someone like me, a beginner, who just started working with leather just a few years ago.
