But it did soak all the way through?? How did you apply it? What size leather were you using? I would be using 7-9 oz leather...I am hoping it is thick enough that it would not soak through

I will tell you my dilemma first. I have been making beer holsters for my friends for fun. I do not like the look of un-dyed leather on the back part of the holster. (The flesh side that would go against your leg). On the flip side, I am really nervous that if i do dye the flesh side that there is a chance it will bleed onto someone's clothing. I just learned about vinagaroon. Is it possible to just apply it to the flesh side? Or will it bleed all the way through? Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? Thank you in advance for your input!

Thanks, gang. It was fun to make! I just got another order for 2 today. I guess I better get crackin'! Good idea about the 1/2" letters. That's the problem with leathercraft. As soon as you buy something new, you want to buy some more! Regarding the quick draw holster: there SHOULD be a 2 holster quick draw option!! I'll get right on that.

Hi gang, I was bored and decided to make a beer holster out of some extra leather. It actually came in very handy! So handy in fact that I made several more for my friends for Christmas! They all had rave reviews, however they have to say that because they are my friends. Lol! I am pretty new to the leather crafting world, only been at it for about 6 months or so. I have tweaked the template a bit since I made this one to make it a little more uniform, but I am open to any suggestions or comments if you have any! It was a fun little project. I ended up making about 20 of them and learned quite a bit along the way. Thanks for looking!
