  1. Not yet. I'm a complete newbie. I'm still reading and putting together a list of suppliers. It's going to be 6-months to a year before I can even get a machine and start sewing.
  2. Is this what you are looking for? Hope it helps.Needles and stitch type.pdf
  3. Thanks very much! I signed up. Thanks very much. I signed up.
  4. Sorry--I just realized that you already have the Cobra, and consequently just want the accessory. Keep talking with Steve about it. It should be in the works. I'll post what he tells me about it.
  5. I talked with Steve about adding a binder to the Cobra 4 before Christmas. He said he would have to talk with his contacts in China about it and would get back to me. He sounded very hopeful though. I was supposed to call him back last week about it, but I got busy with other things. I'll call him tomorrow and post what he says. BTW--The Techsew 2800 comes with a binder. I also talked with them about adding a binder to the 5100. They said they are working on it and will post a notice on their website when they have one. Seiko Ch-8BV already has a binder, but it is more expensive than the Techsew or the Cobra.
  6. I'm new to this forum, but I certainly have enjoyed reading the exchanges. By way of giving back to the group, I am posting the URL for a website I found on knife blades. I came across it when I was trying to compare two knives. The article may contain more information than you want or need, but I found it helpful. http://www.knifesupp...ade_steels.html
  7. I've been reading these forums for quite a while, but this is my first time posting. I found this article about an award from Martha Stewart. The article contains an interesting interview of Charles Pinnell, a leatherworker in Virginia. Congratulations Mr. Pinnell! I'd love to see your work some time. http://www.marthaste...astemaker/83417 Joanne Pickar
