I was looking into different ways to finish off a dog leash to make them look more professional. There is the English point route, but I don't really care for that. Osborne makes a multi use strap end punch. The tool seems to be made for wider cuts of leather and I'll be mainly working with 5/8" down to 3/8". Would the multi use tool be good for widths as small as 3/8" or would it be best to make a template and cut with with a utility knife or a round knife?

I live in the United States actually so that might not be the best option for me. I appreciate the reply though!

I'm getting involved in making dog leashes and collars. I was looking for a place to buy solid brass swivel bolt snaps wholesale, not sourced from China or Taiwan. Thank you in advance for any info.
