  1. Thank you. I will post some new photos when finish assembling.
  2. Thank you Doru for information. I get this machine almost for nothing, so it will be nice to have in my workshop after repairing.Tell me what needles you use, I find in manuals 16x2 system, or 34, and what size can use. I am not sure how this wheel feed works although I have all that parts and spring.
  3. Hello friends, I took Singer 18-3 machine few weeks ago which is not working for many years, stuck in old grease and dirt. After lot of cleaning machine mechanically works very nice, not assembled completely because still cleaning some small parts. Of course some parts are missing which I find on e-bay (shuttle, bobbins, tension take up spring, threadle belt). I have problem with small needle throat plate which is in bad condition and damaged. Is it possible to find somewhere (part No. 6502, screw 665). Of course, some good information and advices are welcome, thank you in advance.
  4. Sorry for very very late answer. You will see procedure from photos. dimensions: straps-12-15mm wide, min.25cm long, thicknes 1.2-1.4mm , 11 holes-diam.-5 or 6mm.When you assembly straps roll it on the round edge of table to set braiding evenly. With practise you will find best measures for you.For ends you can put snaps or sam brown studs.Happy work.
  5. I made order and waiting for delivery. They say spring fit Singer 18, but in parts list it is not exactly the same, hope it will fit my 18-3.

When I get this machine it was standard foot which I change later with rollfoot, but plate and feetdog are damaged. I will appreciate if someone can say something more about these model and his original purpose. Also I wish to know is it posible to upgrade walking foot on this model. Thank you in advance.
