Rohn, Thank you for the information you have given me. I am making a holster for my S&W based upon your design. I am letting it dry before dyeing it. When done, I will post a pic or two. One difference is that I am going to use a clip instead of belt loop.

very nice, do you hae a pattern for this holster? I am fixing to make one for a S&W sigma myself, but if you have a pattern I would love to have it.

Recently got back in to leatherworking. Have done leather work off and on for 30 plus years for personal items. Several gun holsters, possible bag for muzzleloader, muzzleloader sling, Made phone cases for samsung Galaxy 4, I have a survivor case on my phone which makes it very large, my wifes has an otter box rubber cover, not quite as large as mine. I fixed hers to be either clipped on a belt or clipped to her purse (tandy pattern purse). Mine is belt clip only.
