  1. I've been building these for several years now. Made from Brass (polished or Patina) and Aluminum (polished). Replicas of ALL major anvil manufacturers from back in the day!! Have a great week!
  2. Be careful, anvils can be addicting!! I've been collecting anvils for 17 years now. I've bought and sold somewhere around 600 anvils or so. A couple of years ago, I had the LARGEST Hay Budden anvil known in existence at 701 pounds. It came off the Missouri-Pacific Railroad. I just purchased a 255 pound Arm & Hammer anvil.....best anvil ever manufactured. That Fisher Horseshoe anvil that you mention was a GREAT BUY! I would have bid on it if I had remembered to. Probably worth closer to $1500 or so. The HORSESHOE emblem on the side is extremely RARE on a FIsher anvil. Anyways, check out some of my MINI anvils that I make right here in my shop.....
  3. Hey Barry, how can you find your website? I know I've been on it before, but could you post an addy for it? Or someone else, at least. Are there pictures of your swivel knifes on there? If I remember right I don't remember many pictures, maybe I'm mistaking about someone elses site... I dunno. THANKS MAN!
  4. Geez......that is some great info guys, gals.....THANKS! I guess my only option at this point is to buy one of each knife you suggest. I've got a lathe, maybe I should just make my own....doesn't look too difficult. Thanks for your help.By the way, have you all seen this Swivel Knife Collection? Pretty cool knives there. Check it out: http://www.leftysleathercraft.com/english/crafters/swiv.html
  5. I am looking for a REALLY good swivel knife. Any of you know where to find a really high end knife or are they even made anymore. I've seen Stohlman's leather handled knife, but I'd like to see more. Also, where can I find RUBY tips?
  6. Woo hoo!! Great seat! I really dig the color! Tooling is tops!
  7. Be sure to post pics when you're finished!! Don't make me look too bad though!!
  8. David, I have been looking for that FONT that "BANDIDOS" is tooled in. Where did you find that? 18. Hey all!! I am glad to be here. My name is Ryan Wasson from Anvil Customs. I am really enjoying building leather seats for choppers, etc. My shop is here in Springfield, MO and I am really stoked about Leatherworker.net!! Anyways, please check out my website: www.anvilcustoms.com You will find some good stuff, but NOT NEARLY as good as some of the great stuff I've seen here! I don't know this site completely so please forgive me if I don't have this FOR SALE POST in the right place. I have FOR SALE and good Ideal Clicker Press. It is Clutch driven. Good older press if you need one. I think $650 is a really good price if someone is here locally and could pick it up!! $650 takes it. Thanks, Ryan Wasson Anvil Customs www.anvilcustoms.com
