  1. I've been cheating: https://www.universalsewing.com/tek9.asp?pg=parts_pfaff Greets Ralf C.
  2. Hi, The Pfaff 145 come with three pressurefoot-lifts: H1 and H2 machines can get 7mm under their foot, H3 machines will do 11 mm and H4 machines do 14 mm. Needle length and needle system changes accordingly from 134 via 134-35 to 190. Then there is the A to D classification: A is for light materials, B for medium, C for medium heavy and D for heavy stuff. L says it's set up for leather N designates 6 mm stitch length (4 stitches per inch). Not sure about the P ;-) So, your machine should be able to do it with ease. I have a Pfaff 145 H2-B with needlesystem 134. It has a pressurefoot lift of 10 mm, 5 mm stitch length and will do two thicknesses of 4mm belt leather with buttery ease even without a leather needle. 3. Found the solution: The splint pin is conical - can be driven out to one side only. Greets Ralf C.
  4. So drill fixingholes where you need them or fix the guide with a G-clamp. HTH Greets Ralf C.
  5. Hi Wiz and everybody, thanks for the countless bits of info I could pick from your threads. This brazing seems to be pretty much what needs to be done to my Adler 30-1, plus some height-adjusting of the pressurefoot. But - how on earth does one open the darn things? Everybody seems to think it's obvious, so nobody describes this. I can unscrew the head-assy so it's dangling from the big toplever, but I can't get it off the lever and I cant disassemble it. Any hints? Thanks folks Greets Ralf C.
  6. THX. Learned a lot from your posts - and like the pic. Rather rare for a Kraut to operate a 111. Greets Ralf C.
  7. Hi, same Watts means same Horsepower. If you change the Volts and want to keep the Watts (and Horsepower) you have to change the Amperes accordingly. Greets Ralf C.
