For sale is the new JP Equine Bridle & Tack Tool. This little tool eliminates the frustration of holding the two pieces of leather together while trying to start your Chicago Screw or post screw. It also works great for Conchos up to 2 inches and will not mar your fine silver conchos. It is designed like a pair of pliers, made of durable, lightweight, industrial polymer, ( No chance of rusting and transfering to your fine leather). I have sold hundred of these tools on Ebay and now offering them here. This tool is 100% guaranteed, if you buy one and don't like it for any reason, if you will notify me within 3 days of receiving it, and send the tool back to me, I will refund the purchase price (Not the shipping) no questions asked. If you should break one of these tools within 90 day of receiving it, notify me and I will send you another one free of charge These tools sell for $16.95, plus $4.00 shipping & Handling ( $1.00 shipping for each additional tool purchased) and if you live in Illinois 7.25% sales tax will be added. If interest you can email me through this site, or they can be found on Ebay. Thanks for looking

In the State I live in (Illinois) if you have a sales tax number all sales must be reported, and tax paid only on the items sold within the State. If you every go through a tax audit, (no fun) you will pay the tax you neglected to pay, with interest and a very stiff penalty. I would not take the chance.

Hi All: I am new at this so please bear with me. I attended an estate auction some time ago and purchased hundreds of pieces of harness hardware, buckles, snaps, spots etc. 90% of it is new but has been around for some time, When I get a chance to go through it all I will post the buckles etc later. For now I am offering several boxes of Spots from the Standard Rivet company. They to have been around for some time. They are as follows. (1) (See photos) 3/8" Brass "Diamond Point" spots with 4/16" prongs. The spot looks kind of like a bullet point with a 6 sided cone and would stick up about 1/4". These spots are unique in that they are no longer made. I spoke with a man at Standard Rivet company, he stated they have not been made for many years. I have 5 boxes with 1000+ spots in each. Price $25.00 per box or $100.00 for all 5 boxes. (2) 1 box 1096 count (Yes I did count them) 1/4" round head Nickel Silver spots with 4/16" prongs. Price $25.00. (3) 1 Box 1011 count Brass 3/8" round head spots with 4/16" prongs. Price $12.00 (4) 1 Box 1006 count Brass 3/8" round head Saddlery spots with 5/16" prongs. Price $15.00 (5) 3 boxes 1175 in each. 3/8" round head Nickel Saddlery spots with 5/16" prongs. Price $20.00 or all 3 for $50.00. (6) 1 Box 847 count 1/4" brass round head spots with 4/16" prongs. Price $5.00 (7) 1 Box with Brass 3/4" spots 5/16"prongs there are 120 flat head and 40 round head spots in this box. a few of these do have some minor tarnishing and would require some polishing. Thanks for the info Grumpy. DO you think this is pre 1922 saddle? Gary -
I had this saddle posted before the Hack, so I will post it again. someone posted that it might be from the 20's or 30's. It is a Bona Allen with a 16 inch seat, it has the sharp square skirts and the stirrup leathers are on the outside. I would like to know it's age and about what it might be worth. Overall the saddle is in good condition, it needs the fleece and saddle strings replaced and some other minor repairs. At some point I will sell it on ebay and would just like an idea of the value. Thanks in advance.
