About two months ago kimberangel and I decided on a build off. You see she and I both wanted tool cases so as a challenge I went scrounging in my stuff and came across a block of walnut and one of babinga so I cut and shaped drilled the holes and we were off and running! We both used a theme and the pattern is from Mr. Stolmans's case book both are similar but diffirent what do you think?More pictures

Folks, I hope you dont mind but here is a project that I just finished for a nice young lady that I know she desired a leather covered clip board for work that wouldnt scrach a car if she set it down on the paint her favorite flower is the hybiscus and she wanted a Harley emblem on there too! so he it is I hope youall like it.

I have turned several on my lathe from plastic rod that I got at the hobby shop and shaped the blade with 180 grit sandpaper finishing with 320 paper . I have even cut several different withs and lenths to see what works the best I am sure you could use a drill and file if you dont have a lathe

I like to use Corrian (sp) scraps that I can get from the local cabnetmakers shop. They are happy to give away the sink cutouts. I cut assorted shapes on my table saw with ease .Then a trip to the Dollar store for a roll of rubberised shelf liner that I glue on the back for a non skid surface works great with minimal exspence.
