I'm wanting to make a tool bag for my lil brothers HD and am in need of some patterns. I want to tool a gargoyle on front flap so need said flap to be pretty large and unobstructed so the bag itself would b slightly larger than the regular .
any ideas and input are appreciated. The more simple the better...lol

I have wanted to make a leather box for my small collection(10-20) of wrist watches and am in need of a pattern for it in addition to some tips. The new steam punk craft aid from tandy inspred me to want to do this.
I have not been able to find any post on here and am simply not very good at starting up something like this so any help and pics is very much appreciated

all looks great..i especially like the blue in the eyes really makes them pop. since its not the right thickness..perhaps try to find an unusable guitar, put it on that one and display it in store would be a REAAL eye catcher

i have started using a small piece of stag , rounded and smoothed on the side w/ a dremel. works fantastic and is allot easier. just my cents

I'm glad i could help Grumpy...
.I'm still a newbie to all this, so what little i can offer to anyone is always a pleasure. just remember if u have never used the SAM brown b4, be sure to cut the small slit next to the hole
-
GRUMPY,
Tandy does indeed have the SAM brown posts. i try to use them as much as possible, less concern coming off in my opinion. gives it a great look as well. i didn't have a setter for it and just used a heavy rawhide mallet to drive it home and worked great i thought, the screw backs seem to come loose a bit easier unless ya use lock tight or some clear nail polish that will still allow you to remove it ONLY when YOU want to.

he even put her FULL name and sone other stuff on the back that he didnt take a pic of,AND was on a serious time tabe to finish it by yesterday.

Metalli silver, and 14k gold by gleams. It's only the stuff you get at Michael's but it works great, it's cheap, and I like the colors.ShirleyZ
