Yes, the ox blood dye is fiebings.
On the resolene, I first applied the dye, let it sit for a few minutes and then wiped off the excess. The next day I applied a coat of neatsfoot oil and let it rest overnight. I then applied the resolene with a slightly damp dauber, dabbing off the excess. I repeated a day later. If the piece is dry, I can buff it with no transfer. But if the cloth is slightly moistened I am getting quite a bit of transfer.
