  1. Well hello everybody! I guess it's been a while since we have been here. Yes, we do still make corona pads. Each pad is custom made to fit the customer's saddle. These are one piece pads without the lacing in the centers. This saves $$$ on cost. We can make the two piece pads, but they are about twice as much as a one piece pad. For more information, please go to www.theparadesaddleman.com Thanks!!
  2. Living in Iowa I can see I have seen my share of Boyt saddles. I can't think of one that didn't have the aluminum tree. In fact, I have a Boyt parade saddle sitting right here in front of me. And yes, it has an aluminum tree. If there is still any interest, I could post some pics. got silver?
  3. This saddle in silver and gold tops out at about 90 pounds for the complete set. That is a lot of silver! Got Silver?
  4. Well we don't really have a site yet. I have on I'm working on, but not going public yet. Here is a pic of one of our sterling Flowers sets. This was taken before a parade we rode in at Valentine, Nebraska. This set is all sterling and also has 17 22kt. gold horseheads on it.
  5. Well I can answer just about any question you may have about the Flowers saddles. We do all our own repairs and even have built new pieces to use with the saddles. Part of our Flowers collection. Scott
  6. Art, No, we did not make these three sets. These are from our personal collection and are all vintage Ted Flowers sets from the 50's. We do make some silver stuff right now, but I am still learning the ropes. Lot's of good reading here on this site! Got Silver?
  7. Yes. so do we! This is one of our parade sets. My wife rides this set.
  8. Hello everybody! Here is one of my first creations. I bought this old plain jane brown mini saddle at a horse auction for $5.00 and totally restored it and added all the spots. Made new taps, fendres, rigging, sheepskin, etc. Then made all the other pieces from scratch. I could never find a parade outfit for a miniture horse so I just made my own. This allowed my young son to ride his pony along with the rest of us in parades. This was 6 years ago.
  9. Hello, While it is true that Ted Flowers did not mark all of his saddles, there are quite a few out there that are indeed marked, either by silver tag in the seat or leather stamp. I have seen both. Some are marked "The Spot Shop" and some are marked "Ted Flowers". Of the 16 Flowers sets I own, 3 are marked in the seat. Got Silver?
