  1. You can also check out Powder Horns and More at www.powderhornsandmore.com. They supply horns for scrimshanders and they are not cheep but to get quality you must pay for it. The do have specials of 20-30 horns for around $150.00 or so but you can talk to them to see what they can come up with for you. Arthur Andersen
  2. Hi Joanna; Nope that did not help. But it was worth a try. Oh well, it is such a small matter. I will just have to live with it. Thanks for trying tho... =8-} Arthur Andersen
  3. Thanks Joanna. I will give that a try and let you know.. Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Arthur Andersen
  4. Hello Oh Great and Powerfull OZ, I mean, Webmaster. When I click on the sign-in link it sends me to the login page where you can put in your username and password. Would it be to hard to set the cursor to automatically go to the username input box so one does not have to click the box before typing? I have lost track of the number of times I have typed all my info in only to discover that the cursor was not in the box and the info has gone off into La-La land. It may just be my work computer as I have discovered some sites act differently at work then when I am accessing them at home.So far I have neglected to test that theory by trying to logon at home ( see, I told you it was a trivial item) and if that is the case then please ignore this rant. Thank you for providing a otherwise fantastic web site to use. Arthur Andersen
  5. Gunter; His pm address is KEVDBRY@aolDOTcom if you are interested. I don't think he would mind that I gave it to you. The book he described is the book I was searching for but have now obtained from Luke. Good luck. Arthur
  6. Yes. The music symbol. E568 is the number. I used a Dremal to grind/cut it off. Just have to be careful not to alter the bottom loop when you cut off the part. Arthur
  7. When my wife needed one she took the Treble Clef from Tandy and ground off the "hangy-down" part. It was close enough to one that no-one noticed. But they only have it in one size. Arthur
  8. Thanks Mark. All ready got that and thought it was great. However it did not have any of the larger bags like Mr. Hughes book had. His bag pattern was roughly 12 X 10 inches square. I guess I could improvise. Have not yet been able to contact Mr Hughes in Montana. Arthur
  9. Hi Vwoodard, Tried the email address and it bounced back as a invalid account. So I will go the snail mail route to attempt to get some info. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for the info... =8-} Arthur
  10. Hi Walletman; Ah there's the rub. That seems to be the only thing I can not obtain. Tandy says it might not even have had a ISBN Number. I found the copyright number granting copyright privaliges to Tandy Leather, but no ISBN Number. I tried abebooks anyway, and had no luck. Thanks for the suggestion tho. Guess I will continue to search EBAY. Someone had one for auction last September. Maybe I can luck into one eventually... -- Arthur
  11. I have been searching since Katrina ate my copy for a copy of the Tandy Leather Company long book called "Black Powder Bags & Pouches" by Steven Dodd Hughes. It was supposidely published in 1985 and had 19 pages. It contained patterns for hunting bags, a flint wallet, ball bag, shot bag, and possible additional patterns for other items. I have contacted Tandy and all they could find was the Gene Nolan book which I already have. If anyone has a copy that they would be interested in selling or copying the patterns and sending those to me I would be agreeable to make it worth their while. Thanks to all for helping. ---Arthur
