  1. Here are some of our latest leather credit card wallets. Slim design which features 1 x I.D. slot and 3 x credit card slots. Made from Oak Leaf leather which is treated / tan very similar to that of Veg Tan Leather. Exterior on most of these wallets has been distressed and hand rubbed with dye to give a vintage - aged look. We use thin suede for an interior.

    Have a great Friday

  2. We have been hard at work expanding our product line. These are some of our newest Ipad Leather & Wool sleeves we have designed. Some are made from veg tan leather which has been hand rubbed & tooled, while others are made from Latigo. All cases are cushioned with a Felt Wool interior for a secure and comfortable fit. An Apple Ipad will sleep like a baby.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

  4. That's a great-looking bracer. . . rather clean and neat. What size grommets (eyelets?) are those and where do you buy them?

    Thanks very much,

    L'Bum

Hey Leather Bum thanks for the comment. We are actually going to introduce a line of bracers which will also incorporate our tooling skills. The size I can't remember of the top of my head but you can find them at Tandy's Leather Factory http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/

    Hey Guys,

This is my first leather bracer. I'm using exotic lizard hide for the cross.

Lizard hide is my favorite skin to work with. It has a very smooth texture with an elegant look.

Let me know what you guys think?

I went ahead an posted some behind the scene photos of the bracer along with some other leather cuffs we made that day.

  6. I went to your site and thought the price was very reasonable, though I'm sure the rest of the stingray skin won't go to waste in your shop, like you point out, there is only one star per skin. And stingray isn't cheap. And I've broken a few needles and said some bad words messing around away from the star. I like the classic design- you should have a more "feminine" version though, and charge even more for it. You'll get it. Nice work- thanks for sharing.

(If people knew what stingray really was and what a bear it is to work with it, it would be even more valuable!)

    Johanna

    Johanna,

I'm very pleased to hear someone out there knows and appreciates the work involved when using Stingray Hide. Stingray is one of the toughest hides to work with because of it's outer crystal like surface. The crystal type surface is hard and un-even making it very easy for needles to brake and gear crooked when stitching.

We are actually in the process of coming out with more feminine designs using all types of exotic leather hides. Do you have any samples of your work we may see?

    Thanks, -J

    Hey Guys,

It's been a while since I last posted on LeatherWorker.net but I'm glad to be back. These past few months have been pretty busy for us. We were asked to be sponsors for Rock on the Range exclusive interviews by Cage Rattle (www.cagerattle.com) as well as dealing with a new identity and look to the site (www.urbanwrist.com).

We've added some new collections to our arsenal of leather cuffs which use 92.5% silver charms along with exotic hides (snakes, lizard, crocodile, and stingray), as well as our Distressed Collection which displays our distressing techniques. Check out the 925 collection by going to the following link: 925 Collection. You can view our Distressed collection by clicking on the following link: Distressed Collection

We are also proud to announce that we will be designing new belts and watch bands which will be accessible via our website soon.

I've attached some of our recent leather cuffs, please comment and let me know what you think.

Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

    Thanks, -J

  8. I had some stuff going on lately that kinda kept me off leathers a bit but hey, it's just those things that happen to you in life..I'm picking up more and more and have some interests from customers but taking one day at the time and don't stress with it. I just finished a eyeglasses case for a dude. Didn't have the glasses available to work with so kinda worked in the blind, lol. He's testing it now so we'll see if it'll be a redo or if he is happy but sounds like he liked it alot. I think it was to simple he he.

Keep it up, you're good with bracers!!!

    Tom

It happens Tom, it took us about 6 months to a year to actually get our stuff together before we created the website. It's just one of those things where things always get in the way.

I'm sure your client will like your work, and thanks we are trying to expand from just bracers and are going to include watchbands and more leather belts, so lets see how that goes.

    Cheers mate

  9. Beautiful bracer!!

I use the same tecnique with putting on the antique in a streay fashion and just love the way it looks.

Nice carving...are we going to see some tooling in the future too??

    Tom

    Hey Tom,

Yea what is Brown and Antique on a distressed finished always looks nice. My father Joe V. Senior is actually taking up tooling classes as we speak, so hopefully soon you guys will be seeing some tooling coming from us.

How is your biz coming along?
