I recently found about two dozen rusted leather stamps. I took them home an soaked them in kerosene for s few days then wire wheeled them.. i am amazed at the high quality of these stamps, appear to be stainless or other high grade metal with very fine stamp patterns... BUT i have not been able to find out anything about the KROMWELL name as a leather stamp maker. Is nayone familiar with this stamp maker, history, etc?? thanking in advance, jim

Hello Roybee, i finally received all your emails regarding your interest in my Tippmann Aerosmith. Unfortunately my email account will not access your email address so... Since your located is an area with limited access to repairs, etc. may i make a suggestion? I would recommend that you initially ship this unit to the Tippman factory and have them do a thorough review/rehab first before it is shipped to South Africa. I used this machine for years but it has been unused for the past seven months and it would then reach you in top running order. If you would like to consider this option, i can call Tippman and get their contact information for you so you can contact them direct for this service... And then they can get you costs from them to South Africa. So please let me know if i should get DHL shipping costs to South Africa direct or to the Tippman factory in Fort Wayne, Indiana USA... regards, jim

The factory specs indicate just over 3/4 " and i have sewed holster welts at least that thick.... i suggest that you google Tippmann Aerosmith Sewing Machine where you will find several presentations on this excellent sewing machine.... it does take a fairly heavy compressor for maximum service... regards,

I have a TIPPMANN AEROSTITCH sewing machine for sale. It comes with a pneumatic thread tightener and is currently mounted on a roll-around cart with hand made flat sewing table that fits over the sewing arm. It can be unbolted and shipped but i can also deliver to the Prescott Leathercrafters show in February intact or elsewhere in Southern California or Arizona.
