  1. Thanks everyone for your advice. Turns out the mother board in the motor is toast. New one on the way. I can always rely on the group here. ❤️
  2. I hope you all can help and give some advice on what I can do fix my machine. Last week was sewing along and the machine just stops. Checked the fuse it was blown. Ordered new ones and now when it turns on the fuse is quickly blown again. It is located right where the on switch is. Any ideas? Not a good time for this to happen right before the holidays Thanks in advance - Christine
  3. Thank you everyone! I do the paper templates to make sure my measurements are correct but they do wear out. The standard that I have been using are wooden with the holes in the right spots that my husband made, but I'd like to be able to see through them too. At least I know I'm on the right road in the leather adventure that I love. Thank you all! Christine
  4. Hi all. What do you use when making several of the same item? I am needing something I can trace around to make the same cuts each time and streamline my process. Besides a heavy cardstock, what is available and what would you suggest.... Thanking you in advance. Christine
  5. Will see you next Saturday Alexander to pick mine up! Christine
  6. Perfect! There is a Cowboy dealer about four hours from me. Cheaper to drive and get on hand experience and bring it home. Thank you so much!
  7. Hi everyone! I am wanting to get our industrial sewing machine and have narrowed it down between the Cobra Class 4 and Cowboy CB 4500. What is your experience between these two machines? We want to get something that can handle our current work (which either will do well) but also want something we can grow our business later. Would appreciate any and all advice.... Thank you in advance. Christine
  8. Thank you Jeanne! I will check them out. Looking forward to this journey. I want to get something that I can move forward with bigger things eventually too. Appreciate your advice
  9. Hello all! I have looked through the supplier forum and haven't located what I need info on so I hope you all can help a gal out. I am almost ready to purchase a Cobra Class 3 or 4 and have read about a company with a man named Cobra Steve. Can you tell me where I can get this machine or get in touch with him? Appreciate any information you can give me. Thank you in advance! Christine
