About Me
Worked with computers for years - got bored, or more to the point, got bored with being nice to the people using them. decided to chuck it all in and make no money at all as a leather worker instead, best thing I ever did.
Just spent a year making knives, initially to make one for me, got the bug and made loads more, the one I ended up liking the best is a gruesomely awful looking piece of mystery steel which is the best skiving knife I've ever used. I made various others for cutting leather but decided I like a rotary cutter or a 'Stanley knife' with a properly sharpened blade.
I also got very interested in sharpening and relevant metallurgy while I was making knives.
** Stanley knife blades sharpen up beautifully on a buffing wheel with a medium paste on. it's all they ever need.(usually)
