Hello
We need new machine. Need to sew horse equipment from thick 3-4mm vegetable tanned leather (Now we have Tärnsjö leather: http://tarnsjogarveri.com/wip/en/leather/)
ATM we have two machines:
PFAFF 191-4-54C LMN post bed. Feeds only with feeding dog. Seems that 160 needle with 15s / 210 tex cord is too much for that. Ok with lighter leather. Too fast atm
Other one is Dürkopp 241-153 lat bed, walking foot, but doesn't feed with needle. Similar situation than with Paff. Way too fast atm and also making too short stitches (maybe 8 stitch for inch, i make separete question for that if its possible to adjust).
We have been offered two machines, both are walking foot needle feeded machines with cylinder arm.
Pfaff 335-H2-17/1B , price 500€ Adler 105-64, price 1500€
If i have understanded right they are quite a different machines. But is that Pfaff for a light use? Adler is bloody expensive..
Well some other machines have been offered also, but have to get model information from those. In price range of 1000-1500€
