  1. Very nicely done.  Not sure how that inside retaining string is going to work over time.  I can imagine it falling down inside the pouch and the barrel getting wrapped around it on re-holstering or some other calamity.  You might give that one some thought.  I've learned there are some wheels that should not be reinvented.  Just my dos centavos.

  2. Very nicely done!  I suspect there are an extremely small percentage of leather workers who can demand and receive the appropriate prices for their leather carving.   However, for those of us who do not fall into that category, it remains a passion and we continually strive to improve.  Keep on keeping on!

  3. This is the same gun rig design as the last one I posted with a different western floral design. This floral design comes from Al Stohlman's book, Belts Galore, it is the  Wild Rose. The gun belt is from Will Ghormley's Old West Collection (cartridge belts patterns) .  If you have never used Will's patterns for holsters or gun belts they are very well done.  The belt is crafted from 9/10 oz. leather, the holster is 7/8 oz. lined with 4/5 oz. , the clip pouches are three layers of 7/8 oz.  One layer makes the front, one layer makes the back and a second back layer is for the slotted belt loop. All the leather is Hermann Oak.
