  1. Is there any interest out there in a group effort in creating a decent collection of floral patterns. I would be willing to save everyones on my computer and organize them all. Hopefully we could get a decent collection together and then we could share them all instead of 1 or 2 at a time. Just make sure that the pattern is legal to share. Lol.
  2. Barry king tools are great. I have a mixture of his and craftool. I got size 35 bar grounders and they are perfect. I wouldn't want a smaller size. Most of my stuff is about the same size as your pattern also. Try using a vertical lined pear shader or one of barrys center shaders on your flower centers. Just don't accidentally hit your seeds. Other than that great job. I like the deeper thumbprints on that flower. Just my opinion.
  3. I've been in the same boat as you. Call me tomorrow and I'll tell ya everything I know and know a few people selling machines if your interested. I will probably post a few of them up here in a couple weeks but if u want first dibs I can get them at a great price 407-406-3477
  4. Nobody puts specs of their machines for sale. Looking into cowboy 4500 but they may be out of stock by the time I get paid. Any other ideas for a machine that can handle thick threads, long enough arms for cartridge loops, and can handle 3/4". Thanks
  5. I know someone selling a singer 7-3 but I haven't seen the machine in person. He said it had a reverse that was disabled. If anyone knows anything good or bad about the machine let me know. I'm really trying to find out how long the arm is, what size thread it can handle, how thick of leather can it sew, and I assume it's a flatbed machine. Thanks everyone.
  6. Tippman boss fs in great condition with original paperwork and box. $1000 shipped to the 48 Obo. Call if interested anytime 407-406-3477. Thanks
  7. That's what I was thinking of using. I'm gonna knock it out in the morning with some saddle soap. It's black lace on this wallet anyhow so the darkening won't matter. Plus I would not be using the yellow kind also. I also use about arms length and splice for your above mentioned reason. Plus I try and use good lace and it helps. Thanks.
  8. I've heard of a few guys using some type of leather conditioner while braiding to get a really nice finished look and to help protect the lace. The reason I ask is I'm doing a Mexican basketweave with kangaroo and it's just not looking as nice or professional as I would like it to. Thanks.
  9. Looking for sewing machine that can handle thread in the 300 range and leather 1/2" thick. Please email me at chazdillon@aol.com Thanks
