Seat finally complete. About 15-20 hours of lacing. Designed off my last name and family crest. All comments welcome. Thanks for looking. There is some amazing work being posted lately! Good job by all.

If small (8-13 inches) one full roll should be sufficient for a medium-large lace. Smaller lace and shorter hole pattern may take more. I would get two rolls just in case, especially if you want to re-lace, or begin a new seat, or project, later on.

2001 Road King seat complete (finally). Design partially based on family crest. All comments welcome. Thanks for looking!

Mr. Ramsey, thank you for the reply. It is good to hear from you and it sounds like you are very proud of your heritage, as I am. I am just a young man but the oilfield has given me the opportunity to do some pretty neat things, which includes working in two of the biggest oilfield states in the nation (Alaska and Texas). The oilfield can wear you out sometimes but I don't have any regrets and have made a lot of friends along the way. Thanks again for writing and I hope all is well.

Yes sir it sure does. I work with an auctioneer named Buck Buchanan in Bryan. Good to hear from you and thanks for the comment.

Just started on this one the other day. I am fifth generation oilfield trash so I came up with this design. The center piece was silhouetted from the roughneck statue at Texas A&M University. Feedback is highly welcome. And if you are not sure if you are oilfield trash, you're not!

Haha. Yeah it's nice being able to borrow the tools from somebody instead of buying them, DAD!

I lined the upper part in black kangaroo lace. Thanks for the comment. Let me know if you have any more questions. It was definitely a learning process. The lining behind the pistol is red suede. -
I stuck to a little more basic and plain style, without too much contouring.

http://www.btinternet.com/~kingsmerecrafts/page96.html Hope this helps all who have been trying to find lacing patterns and techniques. It has a ton more stuff if you go to the bottom of the page and drag down on the catagories tab. enjoy
