      I've been using 3-4 ounce milled veg carving leather for several years now. When mounted on illustration board, one can tool it like it's 7-8 oz. Called and talk with Glen at Wickett and Criag

      I have heard that spirit dye can be added to Gum Tragacanth. I'm going to try it.

      It would help just to wet it and let it set for a moment. But splitting to about 6-7ounce would be helpful also.
