Years ago when I was in high school or junior high I tooled a purse and somehow it got it got a blue stain stain on it before I finished it. I think perhaps it is die off of blue jeans as I was holding it between my legs as I was stitching it up. I tried to wash it off with saddle soap but that did not work. I wanted to enter it in the County Fair so I went ahead and put finish on it. My question is is there anyway I could strip the finish off and anything I could use to get the stain out? I can't remember the exact finish I used but it called itself satin shene and I beleive it was water based. Thanks
