Gunfitters

I was introduced to leathercraft in a grade school art class. In high school I started combat pistol training with an uncle who was the range officer of the Wheaton, IL police department and the curator for the First Division Museum firearms collection. Leathercraft and pistolcraft developed simultaneously for me.
I’ve served as an officer in the military, and a past member of the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET). I served 10 years as a Wisconsin DNR Hunter Safety instructor, and NRA certified firearms instructor specializing in practical pistol concealed carry. I helped develop the Wisconsin Concealed Carry training curriculum for the Wis. DOJ.  
The Gunfitters was started in 1987 to create quality handcrafted holsters and leather gear with a tactically sound design.
