  1. Does anyone have any experience with the 15 ton clicker press from CJRTEC - or any of their products? Specifically with issues with the printed control board? We run one of their machines in our shop and after 5 years, it kicked the bucket... After troubleshooting with several local technicians, it appears to be a control logic issue on the pcb (printed control board) It appears we'll be able to get rid of the board and replace it with a programmable logic control and hopefully get it working again. On a broader note, this machine has been frequent trouble for us. When it was initially shipped, it arrived all banged up. It was obvious it fell over multiple times during shipment, cracking off corners and leaving huge gouges in paint. It lacked one of the foot pads and arrived with no manual, and no packaging left, except the floor pallet. It did work for a few months before one of the capacitors on the main hydraulic motor failed and had to be fixed. And now the current electronic issue. I contacted the owner of CJRTEC, James, who did respond, but proved unhelpful in the long run. He said during Covid, they switched suppliers, so could not tell me which control board I had on this machine and could not provide a replacement. They also suffered a data breach and lost their files so could not provide schematics for this board for troubleshooting. Mind you, this machine is only about 5 years old. But I could talk to a technician for $183/hour..... Curious if anyone has any experience... thanks
  2. It's hard to find good equipment, but have found several pieces here and there and made do with other things and bought some stuff new. Still looking for a hand crank skiver, strap cutter, etc.
  3. NH is a bit far away, but what do you have and prices? Could you email me at crazyhorseleatherinfo@gmail.com - thanks!
  4. I'm getting into leather work and need several pieces of equipment as well as hand tools and punches. I'm interested in a hand-crank skiver, kick-press snapsetter (preferably double-head), bell-knife strap splitter, round knife, hole punch sets and end punch sets. Depending on price, might be interested in a large splitter, edge painter or other equipment. I'm located in SW Virginia and can pick up items in NC, SC, TN, WV, KY, OH, or PA if needed. Let me know if you have anything you would like to sell. Thanks!
  5. I'm looking for riveting and snap setting machines if you have any leads on such. Thanks!
