Finally gonna get around to uploading some pics of what I have been doing lately. Here are three seats that I finished up. The first is stock pan, rebuilt alot of the foam and covered with a reshape. First leather work Ive done in a while. This one isnt necessarily a "cafe racer" style. The second one went straight on a pan a buddy made for a custom build he was doing. Came out allright but the pan shape caused some issues for me upfront. Here is a not so good pic of it on the bike. The last one was a little better but offered up its own challenges, mainly the back and under front part. It actually has its own pan that sits on the bare aluminum one (is getting finished later). On the bike (still a work in progress)

Just finished a custom motorcycle seat. Pretty proud of it considering my skill set has been focused elsewhere for so many years. This was a collaboration with a leather artisan who did all the tooling. https://www.facebook.com/christian.lowe.100/videos/pcb.10210000209668563/10210000192148125/?type=3&theater

I learn something EVERY TIME I am on this page. I appreciate all your work, advice and photos of your work. I want to redo my seat, and want to use.....vinyl. I APOLOGIZE. I would actually like to use that and leather together, is that possible. Is there a place you can send me to in shame to find out if it isn't here? I am just not finding the correct search words to find what I dream. Thank you in advance.

Hello everybody! I am new to this forum and just wanted to show off our work. We make custom motorcycle seat covers and accessories. I am attaching few pictures of our recent custom set that contains the seat, handlebar pouch and saddlebags. Our customer is obsessed with red color and wanted her set to match the bike color as close as possible. She developed her own design that we implemented to the best of our abilities. We would love to hear your opinion and constructive criticism. More pictures are available on our website www.taurusseats.com Thank you, Anna@TaurusSeats

Hi there, I am about to start tooling my first motorcycle seat for a friend. I am nervous because he bought the seat kit and I do not want to mess it up. I am going to use acrylic paint on the design and either dye the background or use an antiquing gel to give it a natural worn look. My friend does not want a high gloss sealer. I have heard of Resolene. I would like to know if this is the best choice for a low to no gloss sealer. Also, will it ruin the acrylic paint? Should I use another product before or after painting to protect the acrylic paint? I usually use the Atom Wax when I seal my belts but notice that dye will rub off on my pants and definitely do not want that to happen since he will sitting on it. Any advice would be appreciated, I have looked at some other postings on here but really want the best advice and want to impress him because this could mean future projects for me. Thanks!

Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. I've only just started with leather craft recently. I have been watching a lot of instructor videos on youtube and I have read bits and pieces here and there. I probably spend too much time researching the subject compared to actually making the stuff - as everything in my life Please tell me what you think of it - this is my first bigger project

Please give me some feedback I can use family and friends always love it! What do you think. Here is the seat on the bike.
