treyallen Report post Posted April 4, 2022 I recently purchased a Juki 563 for a pretty decent price, and I'm excited to get started with sewing leather. The machine runs really well so far. I had to order a new table for it, a servo motor, and a step down pulley, but after all of that, it's great! The only thing I am having an issue with is the foot height. I believe I read that it can handle up to 3/8. I've been able to get 1/4, and that is it. I have attempted to adjust the wignut and the screw, but haven't had much luck. Am I missing something? Thanks!

It could be that the hand lifter was replaced somewhere along the line & this one has a lower lift, how high does it lift with the knee lifter?
