AdamDavis Report post Posted June 25, 2022 Hey guys, Is there a rule of thumb regarding material thickness? Would a thinner leather require more or less tension to get a good stitch? RockyAussie Report post Posted June 25, 2022 As a general rule thinner stuff will require less tension. If it is too tight top and bottom it will make the thinner weight stuff concertina together somewhat. This is most noticeable on anything 1mm or less. Over 2mm it is not so important but if the leather or fabric is soft it may need to change. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
