I just ordered a Pfaff 1295 post bed but can't find information on what the best weight of nylon bonded thread is to use on this machine. Any recommendations? Thanks guys!

that depend on your machines subclass and the size of the needle hole in the throat plate and how the whole machine is set up but reg. the Pfaff website the current 1295 takes 110 - 150 needles so 138 should be possible and maybe (maybe !!!) 207 but thats something you have to try. Earlier models may not exceed 138 but again it depends on how the machine is set up.

No  Will not sew #207 very well.  May if only on the top.  #138 is the best thread with a #160 needle.
