shoemaker4 Report post Posted August 12, 2022 I am intrigued with the idea of having a Reverse Pedal, I have seen this on the PFAFF 138 and some of the Cobra Cylinder Arm machines. I have also seen people create them with custom brackets and such. For someone whom is more familiar with the anatomy of Post Bed and Cylinder Machines, is there an internal rod or lever I could Tie a chain link to stimulate the Reverse Pedal without having to fabricate parts? I am using one of the very standard Chinese 810 (mine is actually a 820 Double Needle) clones for reference: Thanks in advance.
Constabulary Report post Posted August 12, 2022 when looking at the parts list I would say no, not ex factory. If the return spring was a pull up spring it would be easier. But maybe you can drill a hole in the table plate )maybe with a little metal tube inside) on the right side of the machine and attach a wire to the reverse lever and foot pedal - see 2nd picture. I´d make the wire on the reverse lever detachable so you can tilt back the machine when needed. Just an idea.
