Stewart Report post Posted October 12, 2022 (edited) I had this wild idea of showing the rose petals curled over. I tried the deep beliver , bad mistake. I used a pear beliver of 2 different sizes that mane it more natural. Thats when ,after painting ,I had a different problem. The two images wasnt anchored to the background. Just floating. My sister suggested pastel colors, So This is what i ended up with. connectin the butterfly with the rose would have resolved the problem in the first place. but Duhhhhhhhh. To me it's a little better. A clay color background with cracks would have made it look like a stepping stone would have been ideal. Gezzer Report post Posted October 14, 2022 As always NICELY done , I agree the second attempt looks better on the first design . and I may have to borrow ( steal ) that background on the other one
