Leather suite renovation.

Recommended Posts

Just laid the floor of my new bungalow and now I need to revitalise my leather furniture.

This is without doubt the most comfortable furniture I've ever sat on. It not only hugs you but will recline all the way flat on 4 of the chairs so I need to treat it well.

Most of it is perfectly fine (has a layer of dust on it in the pic) but there are wear marks on the surface on well used places so before I start experimenting, I thought I'd ask the hive for the benefit of their infinite wisdom.

My first thought is a dilute dye mixed with a conditioner just on the wear points, but I'd love to hear from someone with experience.

As good as it looks right now I'm not sure any attempt to "revitalize" it might make it worse.

I heard good thing from these folks but have to admit I never used their products. Not sure if the products are available in the UK. Maybe google translation of their website gives you some useful information:

https://www.lederzentrum.de

https://www.lederzentrum.de/farbkarte.html

https://www.lederzentrum.de/alle-produkte.html

EDIT:

;) seems they are:

https://www.colourlock.co.uk/

I've heard about colourlock, but I haven't used it myself. But my acquaintances only talk about them, they give me very good recommendations.
