Gymnast Report post Posted November 15, 2022 Do you know of suppliers of very long upholstery needles longer than 0.5 m or 20"? For some odd experimental project I like to try to use such a needle. It needs to have a needle eye and one sharp point end. I guess, that it needs to be at least 2 mm in diameter and made of a piano-wire kind of steel. Do you know of suppliers of such long needles in North America and in Europe? Lint Report post Posted October 22 C.S. Osborne makes some large needles. For example: STRAIGHT SINGLE ROUND POINT NEEDLE – HEAVY #554. Lengths are from 6 inch to 24 inch, with varying diameters. The 25 inch needle is a gauge 11, which is 2.95 mm diameter. Maybe the upholstery needle supplier you reference does also.
