Why is it so hard to find a nice rivet?  Everything looks so cheap and never in the size I need.  Have any of you found a supplier for a rivet that I can use on a watch strap.  Here is a good picture of the type of rivet i'm looking for.  It has a head of 5mm in diameter and is made from 316L stainless steel. b405w-2-20r.jpg.06f1e0735f20c09cd2deace9f6c0324b.jpg

I bought a number of styles and lengths of Ready Rivets recently. When I used them none would crimp, latch, whatever the action is. All would easily pull off. Used Chicago screws and went on. Would love a quality source. Don’t know till you get them.

Duck, Duck, Go......small stainless steel rivets, 5mm head

Turned up a bunch of sources, McMaster Carr always has quality.

Usually what I've found is the 5mm is the shank length and not the rivet head.
