Members JWheeler331 Posted January 4, 2023 Members Report Posted January 4, 2023 (edited) Here is a RH strong side and a RH cross draw rig that I finished up for a pair of 1851 Colt Conversion Revolvers with a 5.5" barrel. Not sure why the coloring looks different buty they are all an even color in person. Maybe because of the storm clouds mixed with sunshine that was above me this day. CFM chuck123wapati Posted January 4, 2023 CFM Report Posted January 4, 2023 beautiful as always. i love that period type of tooling you do it really makes them unique. Quote Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms. “I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” THE DUKE!

Nice job on the holsters, I have had the same problem with the dyes (Fiebings dark brown) and the leather came from the same bend, still hard to say why I had two different shades. Maybe because it was the location on the bend, maybe because one holster was a bit wetter from being freshly tooled. Or maybe, just maybe, it may of been an involuntary temporary power interruption of the antimagnetic particle storm shield. Edited January 5, 2023 by Doc Reaper Quote Doc Reaper
