Members Redbeeerd Posted January 15, 2023 Members Report Posted January 15, 2023 (edited) Heya! I am trying to find information about the Singer 207 D2 but I'm not finding any. Anyone here know what kind of machine it is and if it is usable for leatherworking? Edited January 15, 2023 by Redbeeerd Quote

Members Constabulary Posted January 16, 2023 Members Report Posted January 16, 2023 I have a manual in German language if you are interested. The machine was manufactured in Wittenberge Germany and is a quite rare bird. This machine AFAIK was only made in Wittenberge and nowhere else in (Singer) World. If it is in good shape and all parts are present and not super expensive I would buy it. It can sew light weight / garment type leather. Quote

What I see missing on first blush, the top thread tension disks are missing and a broken needle. But the price is right and a good project machine. kgg Edited January 16, 2023 by kgg Quote
Members Constabulary Posted January 16, 2023 Members Report Posted January 16, 2023 If it was me I would buy it but me is "Singer Idjit" I don´t know how different the parts are but usually getting Singer spares are rather easy but the machine itself is a rare bird. However - from just looking at the pictures it seems just the tension discs, beehive springs and nuts are missing. But maybe the parts are in the drawer. Quote
Members Martinezine Posted January 26, 2024 Members Report Posted January 26, 2024 I recently purchased this machine from a small town in Denmark, but I am clueless as how to thread it. Any visuals out there? A manual would be gold too…. Thank you Quote
