Looks good, Mark!

Anybody ever tried substituting bungee cords for the elastic? Done correctly it would look rather different. Three thin bungees instead of one wide piece of material.

Has anyone tried using the same elastic used in sewing? I have done a few projects with it, The way I attach it is Glue paper around the end of the elastic Split the leather in half (Grain side VS Flesh side) slip the elastic between them glue the three pieces together and stitch......

Don't want to hijack the thread. So I will leave it saying good work on the pair posted. And thanks for the pattern
