Members johnny7 Posted November 14, 2007 Members Report Posted November 14, 2007 This is a seat I made for my bike. Fiberglass pan and a whole lot of lace. Quote
Kevin King Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 that looks real nice. and ya, i'd say alot of lace! Kevin Quote The second kick from a jackass is of no educational value. Official Freak Fan Club President FACEBOOK kevinkingleather.com
TomSwede Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 That is really nice and HEY alot of filigree too! I'm wondering what stamp your using to get that nice and crisp filigree? It makes the tooling pop out real nice on that outdoor shot and the motif makes justice for a nice old cliche': -Less is more! That JD seat in the other thread was really nice too, same filigree? Members johnny7 Posted November 15, 2007 Author Members Report Posted November 15, 2007 thanks guys, Tom the tools I used for this project were a craftool beveler and Hidecrafter pebbler. Same tools for both seats. I have been praticing with a couple of basketweave tools but I am not ready to try them on a big project yet. Quote
Guest Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 Nicely done again. You are the man to do that much lacing. Dave Theobald Quote
TomSwede Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 Thank you for sharing Johnny! The reason I'm asking is because I'll be paying a visit to the nearest dealer tomorrow, getting "skinned" again so to speak and nice background bevelers are in the priority list this time. Looking forward to see more from you! Best regards/Tommy Quote Confucius - Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without. --------------------------------------------- www.1eye1.se blogg.1eye1.se
