Members Teradee Posted October 26, 2023 Members Report Posted October 26, 2023 Can anyone tell me the main differences between these two Ferdco Pro 2000’s? Does the white versus “gray?” color indicate anything like vintage or where they were likely manufactured? Quote
Moderator bruce johnson Posted October 26, 2023 Moderator Report Posted October 26, 2023 H was their high lift version. Not sure what frame they based the grey one on. Ive had Juki marked 2000s and white Pro2000s. Quote
Members shoepatcher Posted October 26, 2023 Members Report Posted October 26, 2023 (edited) White ones are newer. Ferdco used Juki 441 to build the Pro 2000. You can also contact Hoffman Brothers in Chicago. They sell the Pro 2000 and bought everything from Ferdco when they closed. You trying to get them going? The heads have parts missing but look pretty good. These machines not cheap so getting them back up and sewing would be advantages money wise. People looking for them. I see at least 4 of them there. The high lift version could sew 1 3/16" if i remember. glenn Edited October 26, 2023 by shoepatcher grammar Quote
