So I sharpened my swivel knife blades and I feel like the cut should be a bit wider and I may have sharpened it at a low angle. What angle to others use when sharpening.

60 degrees I believe is the optimal angle.

Leather Wranglers recommends 30 degrees. I have a Tandy and one of Leather Wrangler's swivel knives and the angles on both are almost identical.

Leather wranglers also has a tutorial where they say to put a secondary bevel of 35 degrees on their blades but the main bevel angle is generally a 30 degree on each side of the blade. All depends on how you like to run your blade. Hope this helps have a great day.
