Adler 67 GK374 needle and thread

Hi

I acquired a barn find Adler 67 GK 373 and after clean up it looks good to go.

Im looking to repair roping cattle horn wraps which are typically felt lined and  nylon webbing and are fairly thick about a quarter of an inch.

Looking for recommendations on needle size and thread thickness and type.

#138 thread and #23/160  needle, not #22/140  Needle system is 134-35.
