Members SUP Posted March 5, 2024 Author Members Report Posted March 5, 2024 (edited) @Littlef it is an old toy saddle for a toy wooden horse. It is very charming and well made. The reason I'm not sure about taking it apart is because of the mold. I will have to work outside far away from my work area to prevent it spreading. Here it is rainy and humid now so it will be a while before i can do that. Let's see if I can find anything to completely get rid of the mold. If I do, then that is an option. If not. it will have to be trashed. Right now, I plan to douse it periodically with a mixture of rubbing alcohol and vinegar for a few days. That will either completely break it down or get rid of the mold. If the latter, I might be able to get the pattern. Edited March 5, 2024 by SUP Quote Learning is a life-long journey.
Members SUP Posted January 2, 2025 Author Members Report Posted January 2, 2025 Sadly, by the time it stopped raining here for long enough for me to work outside, the saddle had completely fallen apart. I had to discard it. I have the wooden horse though. Wondering what to do with it. Quote Learning is a life-long journey.

Might be perfect for your wooden horse. Quote
Members SUP Posted January 3, 2025 Author Members Report Posted January 3, 2025 @DieselTech That's a good idea. I will do that. The poor wooden horse looks bare without a saddle. I can always scale it to fit the wooden horse. Thank you for that information. Quote Learning is a life-long journey.
