Are Divelbiss swivel knives worth buying?

Recommended Posts

I might be able to lay my hands on  a Devilbiss swivel knife. It seems to be in good condition. Are they good? Are they worth buying?

I've never heard of them. Well for a swivel knife brand anyhow. Got any pics of it?

Thanks.

I just watched a Jim Linnel video & he talked about that brand swivel knife.

He did mention the divelbiss knives use a different size shank on the blades, than most other swivel knives.

I get them once in a while. Nothing special and on a par with the decent crafters grade swivel knives from the 60s. A step above the cheap bottom end craftool knives. A bit of a collectible for the people who collect swivel knives.

Thank you @DieselTech and @bruce johnson. I'm not a collector, so I'll probably pass.

Yeah I see them on fleabay from time to time in that $40-$60 range. Lol can you have enough swivel knives thou?

I got 4 different swivel knives, because I hate swapping between blades.

I was offered it for 15 here. But I don't do sufficient tooling to warrant many swivel knives.
