Dura Edge or Edge Kote any good?

Recommended Posts

Going through my burnishing options for belt production, looking for something relatively quick and that I can do on a motor burnisher that holds a good edge over time, ive seen these two products advertise as a wipe and then wait to dry, im a bit skeptical.

Any experience appreciated thank you!

You may like Ink Edge by Fenice or Giardini edge  paint.  However, none of them are wipe in and forget.  Edge paint take as much or more work than normal edges, but the results are very nice.

One of these is edge paint, the other is traditional dye/wax/burnish

They both look pretty good, what work is involved in the edge painting technique? sorry for late reply :)

Appply, let dry, sand smooth.  Repeat until you’re satisfied :)
